CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
~ RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS, AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASE OF SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT OR SERVICES AND CALLING
BIDS FOR LEISURE ACTIVITIES BROCHURES, BID NO. 1772
WHERE~S, specifications providing for the purchase of Leisure Activities
Brochures Ihave been submitted; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve the specifications, authorize
the purcha?e, and call for sealed proposals;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that:
1. The specifications identified above are approved and incorporated by
reference, and the purchase provided for is hereby authorized.
2. The Administrative Services Officer is hereby directed to publish a
notice inviting sealed proposals or bids for the purchase in accordance with
the specifications on file in the Purchasing office. Notice shall be published
in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general circulation printed and
published iin the City of South San Francisco, at least ten (10) days before the
date of op~ning of the bids.
3. Bids will be received by the City of South San Francisco, California,
at the Purchasing office, City Hall Annex, 315 Maple Avenue, South San Francisco,
California 94080 at or before the hour of 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, the 5th day of
July 1988.!
The bids will be publicly opened, examined and declared at that time in the
Conference Room, City Hall, 400 Grand Avenue, South San Francisco, and award
will thereafter be made by the City Countil to the lowest responsible bidder or
bidders, sJbject, however, to the right of the City Council to reject any and
al 1 bids.
I herebY certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a reqular
meeting held on the 8th
