CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC
WORKS TO EXECUTE MASTER AGREEMENTS FOR
FEDERAL -AID PROJECTS, PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT
AGREEMENTS, FUND EXCHANGE AGREEMENTS, AND /OR
FUND TRANSFER AGREEMENTS WITH THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
WHEREAS, staff recommends approval of the master agreements for federal -aid projects and
program supplemental agreement with the State of California Department of Transportation and the
City of South San Francisco; and
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco is eligible to receive Federal and /or State
funding for certain Transportation projects, through the State of California Department of
Transportation; and
WHEREAS, master agreements, program supplemental agreements, fund exchange
agreements and /or fund transfer agreements ( "Required Agreements ") need to be executed with the
State of California Department of Transportation before such funds can be claimed; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends approval of the Program Supplemental Agreement No. 016 -N
to Administering Agency -State Agreement No. 04 -5177R for Federal -Aid Projects between the State
of California Department of Transportation and the City of South San Francisco; and
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco wishes to delegate authorization to execute the
Required Agreements and any amendments thereto to the Director of Public Works to all master
agreements, program supplement agreements, fund exchange agreements, fund transfer agreement
and any amendments thereto with the State of California Department of Transportation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to execute the Required
Agreements and the Program Supplemental Agreement No. 016 -N to Administering Agency -State
Agreement No. 04 -5177R on behalf of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, subject
to approval as to form by the City Attorney.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 9 day of March,
2011 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Mark Addiego, Pedro Gonzalez, and Karyl Matsumoto,
Vice Mayor Richard A. Garbarino and Mayor Kevin Mullin
