CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION FIXING A SPECIAL PROPERTY TAX
RATE FOR FISCAL YEAR 1988-89
WHEREAS, the voters of the City of South San Francisco on the 7th day of
March, 1§78, approved Proposition P which authorized the City Council to levy
a special property tax not to exceed a maximum annual rate of one and one
quarter cents ($0.0125) per One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) of full cash value
of all taxable property within the City, in addition to the authorized maximum
annual property tax rate, for the purpose of acquiring, using and making other
payments for improvements of real property to be used for police, fire, and
other municipal purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1. In addition to the authorized maximum annual property tax rate, the
Council does hereby fix a special property tax for fiscal year 1988-89 at One
and Fourteen Hundredths Cents ($0.0114) upon each One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)
of full cash value of all property enumerated and assessed as being in the City
of South San Francisco, including real, personal, mixed and other property of
whatever rature taxable by the City.
2. The City Clerk shall forward a certified copy of this resolution to the
County Au¢itor so that he may compute and enter in the assessment book the special
tax rate.
3.
The taxes so levied shall be collected as provided by law.
