HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 118-1988RESOLUTION NO. 118-88 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF APPLICATION FOR CHILD DAY CARE FACILITY LICENSES TO THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES AND DESIGNATING THE DIRECTOR OF RECREATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICES AS ADMINISTRATOR WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco operates child day care facilities at Martin School, 35 School Street; Ponderosa School, 295 Ponderosa Street; Spruce School, 501 Spruce Avenue; and Siebecker Center, 510 Elm Court; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take any and all actions necessary to operate licensed child day care facilities at these locations, including but not limited to applying for child day care facility licenses for these facilities; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, that the public interest requires and the City Council hereby approves the submittal of Applications for Child Day Care Facility Licenses for Martin, Ponderosa, and Spruce Schools and Siebecker Center and that Terry Jewell, Director of Recreation and Community Services is designated to act on behalf of the City of South San Francisco regarding the four facilities. This Resolution supersedes Resolution No. 58-88. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a special meeting held on the 21st day of September , 1988, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Mark N. Addiego, Richard A. Haffey, Gus Nicolopulos, Roberta Cerri Teglia, and Mayor Drago NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: None
