HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 127-1988 RESOLUTION NO. 127-88 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO THE SELECTION AND TRAINING OF PUBLIC SAFETY DISPATCHERS WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco declares that it desires to qualify to receive aid from the State of California under the provisions of Penal Code Section 13522; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that pursuant to Penal Code Section 13510(c), the City of South San Francisco will adhere to standards for recruitment and training of public safety dispatchers as established by the Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Penal Code Section 13512, the Commission and its representatives may make such inquiries as deemed appropriate by the Commission to ascertain that the City of South San Francisco public safety dispatcher personnel adhere to standards for selection and training established by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 12th day of October , 1988, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Mark N. Addiego, Richard A. Haffey, Gus Nicolopulos, Roberta Cerri Teglia, and Mayor Jack Drago NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: None
