HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 133-1988 RESOLUTION NO. 133-88 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION COMMENDING ZITA CUSSARY WHEREAS, Zita Cussary commenced employment with the City of South San Francisco on July 15, 1974 as an Account Clerk and has devoted seventeen years to the Finance Division; and WHEREAS, Zita will officially retire on March 2, 1989 but will be using accumulated vacation leave prior to then to practice her retirement skills; and WHEREAS, she has been an exceptionally dedicated, loyal, trustworthy and hard working employee; and WHEREAS, Zita is known as one of the healthiest City employees, a trait which may attribute to her being an avid walker and participant in exercise classes; and WHEREAS, she also enjoys bowling on a local bowling team, playing bridge, quilting and traveling; and WHEREAS, Zita takes great pride in her children Collette, Anthony, Nancy and Joseph and her grandchildren Tracy and Michael; and WHEREAS, her fellow employees know the City is losing not only a good employee but a true friend, but nonetheless encourage her to fulfill her retirement dream of traveling to see the world and her goal of spending more time with her grandchildren; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that it does hereby express appreciation to Zita Cussary for her dedicated services to the City of South San Francisco and does order this Resolution incorporated in the official records of the City as this Council's expression of appreciation and its wishes for her long and happy retirement. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 9th day of November , 19 88 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Mark N. Addiego, Richard A. Haffey, Gus Nicolopulos, Roberta Cerri Teglia, and Mayor Jack Drago NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: None
