Personnel Director Planning Director All salary rates include 7% City payment of the Miscellaneous employee's PERS contributions, and 9% City payment of the Public Safety employee's PERS contributions. Conversion of City Payment of Employee PERS Contributions to Base Salary for the formula to use in establishing an employee's Base Converted Salary Rate. e Actual salary rates for employees may be set at no less than the minimum and no more than the control point for the salary range to which the employee's classification is assigned. 0 Car allowances are considered to be earned income under Federal Regulations. Managers having converted to the employee paid PERS option may also convert their administrative leave benefit to a 2% salary supplement. e e An employee's salary rate may be adjusted under the provisions of Appendix B EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT COMPENSA- TION SYSTEM. ~, ~ r an employee has reached the control point, tn City Manager may award performance bonuses base on the annual evaluation.
