A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE VACATION OF A
10' PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT ADJACENT
TO JUNIPERO SERRA BLVD., WINSTON MANOR
NO. 2 SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, the City Council on July 22, 1987, adopted Resolution No. 88-87,
entitled "A Resolution of Intention to Vacate a 10' Public Utility Easement
Adjacent to Junipero Serra Blvd., Winston Manor No. 2 Subdivision", pursuant to
the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law (Street and
Highway Code Section 8300 et seq.); and
WHEREAS, the Resolution of Intention was published as required by law, and
notices of hearing were posted in the time, manner and form provided by law; and
WHEREAS, on Wednesday, August 26, 1987, at 7:30 p.m. at the Municipal
Services Building, 33 Arroyo Drive, South San Francisco, California, a public
hearing was held where any and all persons interested in, or having any
objections to, the proposed vacation, could appear before the Council and be
heard and such public hearing was continued to September 9, 1987 at the same time
and location; and
WHEREkS, substantial discussion occurred concerning the proposed vacation.
NOW, -HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco ~hat it finds that
1. -he Public Utility Easement Adjacent to Junipero Serra Blvd., Winston
Manor No. 2 Subdivision, which is more particularly described in Exhibit "A"
attached, is unnecessary for present or prospective public use.
2. The 10' public utility easement adjacent to Junipero Serra Blvd.,
Winston Manor No. 2 subdivision is hereby ordered vacated.
3. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be
recorced in the office of the Recorder of the County of San Mateo.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
meeting held on the 9th day of September , 1987, by the following vote:

Councilmembers John "Jack" Drago, Richard A. Haffey, Roberta
Cerri Teglia, and Mark N. Addiego

ABSTAINED: None
ABSENT:

as shown on the Final Map of Winston Manor No.
2, recorded May 28, 1951, in Volume 33 of
Subdivision Maps at Pages 28 and 29, Records
of San Mateo County.
