CI'~Y COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING CHARLES JACKSON
WHEREAS, Charles Jackson was appointed a Park and Recreation Commissioner
on Novembe~ 4, 1981 and has enthusiastically served the City of South San
Francisco ~n that position for six years; and
WHEREAS, during his time on the Commission Charles served as Chairman in
1984; and
WHEREASi, his involvement with the City followed twenty-eight years in
Recreation IServices for the United States Air Force; and
WHEREAS, Charles has also been active as a Board Member for the Human
Investment Project, as a member of the San Mateo County Grand Jury, as a
member of bpth Lions and Kiwanis, and the Westborough Homeowners Association;
and
WHEREASl, Charles has retired in order to devote as much time as possible
to leisure activities, sports, and relaxing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco does hereby express its gratitude to Charles Jackson for his
dedicated services to the Park and Recreation Commission and the City of South
San Francisco.

meeting hel~ on the 25th day of November , 19 87 by the following vote:
