CItY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
!A RESOLUTION APPROVING GENERAL PLAN GP-87-31 PERTAINING
TO THE LAND USE AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF OYSTER POINT
BOULEVARD AND GATEWAY BOULEVARD (ROUSE & ASSOCIATES)
WHEREA~, General Plan Amendment GP-87-31 has been proposed by Rouse &
Associates.for the Gateway Redevelopment Project area to allow some light
industrial and office/sales/services uses; and
WHEREAS, after a public hearing on October 22, 1987, by Resolution No.
2387, the ~lanning Commission of the City of South San Francisco approved
the General Plan Amendment and recommended it to the City Council, as set
forth in Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, a Supplemental Environmental Impact Report has been prepared
and processed in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act
(CEQA); and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on November 25, 1987
and considered the amendment and the presentations made at the hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San FranciSco that:
1. The Council determines there will be no significant effect on the
environment and that the Supplemental Environmental Impact Report is
approved amd certified. The City Clerk is directed to file a Notice of
Determinatlon thereof with the San Mateo County Clerk.
2. The Council hereby adopts as an amendment to the City's General Plan
the amendment recommended by the Planning Commission, as set forth in Exhi-
bit "A" ~
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting he'd on the 9th day of December 19 87 by the following vote:
AYES: iCouncilmembers Mark N. Addiego, Richard A. Haffey, Gus Nicolopulos,
iRoberta Cerri Teglia, and Jack Drago
NOES: iNone
ABSTAIN: iNone
ABSENT: None
