CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING
SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS FROM THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT OF
EDUCATION FOR DAY CARE PROGRAMS AT
SPRUCE, MARTIN & PONDEROSA SCHOOLS
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 86-87 the City Council authorized filing an
application for supplemental grant funds from the State to be used for day
care programs; and
WHEREAS, the City has been granted Twelve Thousand ($12,000) Dollars as
"seed moneY" to enhance day care programs at Spruce, Martin & Ponderosa
Schools,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San FranciSco that it hereby accepts the Twelve Thousand ($12,000) Dollars
($4,000 per school) and authorizes that the money be spent in conformance with
the grant requirements for major one-time items which do not increase the
annual operating budget.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by !the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting hel!d on the 9th day of December , 19 87 by the following vote:
