A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AIRCRAFT NOISE
INSULATION PROGRAM - PHASE II,
PROJECT NO. PB-83-SA, BID NO. 1763
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous authorization and published notice, bids
were publicly opened, examined and declared on the 8th day of January, 1988,
for
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AIRCRAFT NOISE INSULATION PROGRAM-
PHASE II, PROJECT NO. PB-83-5A, BID NO. 1763
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, that:
1. iThe Council hereby awards the contract to the lowest responsible
bidder, M.i Gaehwiler Construction, Inc. of San Francisco for the Base Bid
Price for 46 Homes of Three Hundred Eighty-Two Thousand, Eight Hundred
Ninety-Sixi Dollars and No Cents. ($382,896.00).
2. 'The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a written
contract ~ith the successful bidder.
3. The Council hereby rejects all other proposals or bids.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular ~ meeting held on the 27th day of January , 1988, by the
following Vote.
AYES: !Councilmembers Mark N. Addiego, Gus Nicolopulos, Roberta Cerri
Teglia, and Jack Drago
NOES: iNone
ABSENT: Councilmember Richard A. Haffey
