CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROVAL AND
EXECUTION OF SUPPLEMENT NO. 11 TO LOCAL
AGENCY-STATE AGREEMENT NO. 04-5177 (FEDERAL
AID URBAN SYSTEM PROJECTS)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco,
1. Approval of Supplement.
Approval of Supplement No. 11 to the Local Agency-State Agreement
No. 04-5177 between the City of South San Francisco and the State of
California Department of Transportation entitled "Program of Local Agency
Federal-Aid Urban System Projects in the City of South San Francisco", is
hereby approved, and a copy of the Supplement is attached as Exhibit "A".
2. Execution of Supplement.
The Mayor is authorized to execute Supplement No. 11 on behalf of
the City.
I hereby certify that the forgoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and ad~pted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at
a regular meeting held on the lOth day of February , 1988, by the
following vote.

Tht8 Program Supplement ti hereby incorporated into the Locll Agency-State Agreement
for Federal-Aid which wee entered into between the LOCAL AGENCY end the STATE on
9-1-78 and is subject to all the terma and conditions thereof. This Program
Supplement ia adopted tn accordance with Par&graph 2 of Article I of the aforementioned
Master Agreement under authority of R®solutlon No. , aPl)roved by the
LOCAL AGENCY on (See cody attached).
The Local Agency further stipulates that a8 a condition to payment of Ivnda obligated to the8 project,
it accepta and will comply with the convenants or remarks set forth on the following pages.

SPECIAL COVENANTS OR REMARKS
Ail maintenance, involving the physical condition and the
operation of the improvements, referred to in Article VI
MAINTENANCE of the aforementioned Master Agreement will be
performed by the Local Agency at regular intervals or as
required for efficient operation of the completed improvements.
In executing this Program Supplemental Agreement the Local
Agency hereby reaffirms the "Nondiscrimination Assurances"
contained in the aforementioned Master Agreement for
Federal-Aid Programs.
The Local Agency will advertise, award, and administer this
project and will obtain the State's concurrence prior to
either award or rejection of the contract.
The Local Agency will furnish a qualified Resident Engineer
for the contract.
The Local Agency agrees the payment of Federal funds will
be limited to the Detail Estimate amounts approved by the
Federal Highway Administration in the Federal-Aid Project
Agreement (PR-2), or its modification (PR-2A), and accepts
any increases in Exchange Funds, State Matching Funds, and/or
Local Agency Funds as shown on the Finance or Bid Letter or
its modification as prepared by the Division of Local Streets
and Roads.
