HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 25-1988 RESOLUTION NO. 25-88 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SAN MATEO COUNTY TRANSPORTATION EXPENDITURE PLAN WHEREAS, San Mateo County has drafted a Transportation Expenditure Plan that includes essential transportation projects, such as the Oyster Point Boulevard Interchange and South Linden Avenue Grade Separation in South San Francisco, to be funded with a proposed twenty year half-cent increase to the county sales tax, and a recommendation for a newly created county trans- portation authority which will impose the tax; and WHEREAS, the draft San Mateo County Transportation Expenditure Plan, dated February 2, 1988, was approved by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission IMTC) on February 24, 1988; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that it approves the San Mateo County Transportation Expenditure Plan dated February 2, 1988. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it directs the City Clerk to forward a copy of this resolution to the Joint City-County Transportation Committee and to SamTrans. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a special meeting held on the 2nd day of March , 19 88 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Mark N. Addiego, Richard A. Haffey, Gus Nicolopulos, Roberta Cerri Teglia, and Jack Drago NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: None
