CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION APPROVING RECOMMENDATIONS OF
CITIZENS REVIEW COMMITTEE FOR THE DOWNTOWN
COMMERCIAL REHABILITATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, a Downtown Commercial Rehabilitation Program was
approved by the City Council as a part of the 1987-88 federal
Community Block Grant Program (CDBG); and
WHEREAS, on July 22, 1987 the City Council adopted a
Resolution approving Downtown Commercial Rehabilitation Pilot
Program Guidelines; and
WHEREAS, on October 14, 1987 the City Council adopted a
Resolut'Lon authorizing the Mayor to appoint a Citizens Review
Committee for the Downtown Commercial Rehabilitation Pilot
Program; and
WHEREAS, the Citizens Review Committee had various meetings
to review all applications submitted to date; and
WHEREAS, based on the adopted Guidelines the Committee has
formulated its recommendations to the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco that the recommendations of the
Citizens Review Committee as contained in the attached Exhibit
"A" are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the staff is authorized to work
with each applicant to implement the projects in accordance with
the approved appropriations
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 23rd day of
March , 19 88 , by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Mark N. Addieqo, Gus Nicolo~ulos, Roberta Cerri
TeQlia, and Jack Draao
NOES: None
ABSTAINED: None
