CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING DORIS R. AGEE
WHEREAS, Doris R. Agee, who, along with her husband, Bill,
has been a resident of the City of South San Francisco since
1975, has devoted 2 years serving as a South San Francisco
Planning Commissioner, having been appointed to the Planning
Commission on January 1, 1985; and
WKEREAS, Doris also served as a member of the City's Design
Review Board for 4 years, having been appointed by the Planning
Commission on June 24, 1980; and
WHEREAS, during her tenure on the Planning Commission, she
participated in many major decisions affecting the City's land
use and future development such as the General Plan Revision, the
Zoning Ordinance, and the Sign Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, aside from her busy schedule as a homeowner
association manager, she has provided valuable special insights
to the Planning Commission on matters related to condominium
developments, homeowners' associations, and building maintenance;
and
WHEREAS, her family and original home are in Virginia Beach,
to which Doris and Bill have decided to return; and
WHEREAS, Doris R. Agee has contributed to the welfare of
this community through her activities and participation as a
Planning commissioner and a Design Review Board member, and the
City Council desires to express appreciation to her for said
services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
city of South San Francisco that the Council does hereby express
appreciation to Doris R. Agee for her contribution to the City's
progress and welfare through her services as a Planning
Commissioner and Design Review Board member, through which she
unselfishly gave her time, interest, and effort to advance and
better this community, and by which she established a high
standard of civic conduct worthy of emulation by those who desire
to contribute to the welfare of this community.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco at a re§u]ar meeting held on the
llth day of March , 1987 , by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers John "Jack" Drago, Richard A. Haffev, Gus Nicolopulos,
Roberta Cerri Teglia, and Mark N. Addieeo
