CITY C~UNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A! RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF REAL ESTATE
CYPRESS AND MILLER AVENUES AND FOURTH LANE (APN 012-315-076)
WHEREASi, by Resolution No. 3-87 the City Council, upon recommendation of
the ParkingI Place Commission, authorized the expenditure of $250,000 from the
Parking Disirict for the purchase of real property located at Cypress and
Miller AvenOes and Fourth Lane (APN 012-315-076), subject to certain terms
and conditions as reflected in the offer to purchase; and
WHEREASi as a result of subsequent negotiations various terms of the sale
have been a~tered as follows:
1. The City is purchasing the property under the threat of eminent
domain for a sales price of $275,000 cash lump sum.
2. The Seller is responsible for conveying the property to the City
free of all lease encumbrances and tenants.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San FrancisCo that it approves of the purchase of the property at Cypress and
Miller Avem~es and Fourth Lane for $275,000 subject to the terms noted above,
and authorizes the City Manager to execute all necessary documents to complete
the purchase of the real estate on behalf of the City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon completion of the transaction and the
transfer oflthe deed, the City Clerk is directed to cause recordation of the
deed in thelmanner provided by Civil Code Section 1169 et seq.
