CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AMENDING CHAPTER i OF THE MASTER
FEE SCHEDULE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to add fees for the three types of sign
permits now available to the public from the Planning Department, as called
for in the recently adopted sign regulations, to Chapter I of the Master Fee
Schedule; and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 54990, et seq. provides a procedure for
levying certain fees by local agencies; and
WHEREAS, the City Council on May 13, 1987 did conduct a properly noticed
public hearing at which time an opportunity was given to the members of the
public to make written or oral presentations on the subject of the proposed
fees; and
WHEREAS, at least ten days prior to the public hearing the City made avail-
able to the public an estimate of costs required to provide the services for
which the fees are levied and the revenue sources anticipated to provide the
services, including general fund revenues; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the costs to provide the foregoing
services, including estimated costs, and the revenue sources anticipated to pro-
vide the services, including general fund revenues; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has also considered the public response to the
proposed fees;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that:
1. The City Council does hereby adopt the fees set forth in Exhibit "A"
attached and incorporated.
2. The Director of Finance is hereby directed to amend the Master Fee
Schedule of the City of South San Francisco to reflect the fees set forth
in Exhibit "A".
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 13th day of May , 198 7 , by
the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers John "Jack" Drago, Richard A. Haffey, Gus Nicolopulos,
Roberta Cerri Teglia, and Mark N. Addiego
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
