CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF GRANT
APPLICATIONS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE OPERATIONS
AND PROGRAMS OF THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO SENIOR
CENTERS
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco provides services specifically for
the seniors in the community and must file applications for grant funding with the
San Mateo County Area Agency on Aging from time to time; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable that a blanket authorization be granted to the City
Manager to file for funding and to accept enhancements to grants for the South San
Francisco Senior Centers for the operations of and programs at the senior centers
which have received prior approval by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that it hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute and cause to be
filed any and all applications required for and on behalf of the South San Francisco
Senior Centers for funding for the operations of and programs at the senior centers
which have received prior approval by the City Council.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
meeting held on 27th day of May , 198_Z__7, by the following
