CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS,
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF SUPPLIES,
EQUIPMENT OR SERVICES AND CALLING BIDS
FOR LEISURE ACTIVITIES BROCHURES,
BID NO. 1756
WHEREAS, specifications providing for the purchase of supplies, equipment
and/or services have been submitted, which specifications are entitled Leisure
Activities Brochures; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve the specifications, authorize
the purchase provided for therein, and call for sealed proposals;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that:
1. The specifications identified above are hereby approved, and the
purchase provided for is hereby authorized, and the specifications are by this
reference made a part hereof.
2. The Purchasing Officer of the City is hereby directed to publish a
notice inviting sealed proposals or bids for the purchase in accordance with
the specifications on file in the office of the Purchasing Officer. Notice
shall be published in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general circulation
printed and published in the City of South San Francisco, at least ten (10) days
before the date of opening of the bids.
3. Bids will be received by the City of South San Francisco, California,
at the office of the Purchasing Officer, City Hall Annex, 315 Maple Avenue,
South San Francisco, California 94080 at or before the hour of 2:00 P.M. on
Tuesday, the 7th day of July, 1987.
The bids will be publicly opened, examined and declared at that time in
the Conference Room, City Hall, 400 Grand Avenue, South San Francisco, and
award will thereafter be made by the City Council to the lowest responsible
bidder or bidders, subject, however, to the right of the City Council to
reject any and all bids.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the lOth day of June , 1987 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers John "Jack" Drago, Richard A. Haffey, Gus Nicolopulos,
Roberta Cerri Teglia, and Mark N. Addiego
