CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING HERMAN R. HOYER
WHEREAS, Herman R. Hoyer has admirably served the City
of South San Francisco as an enthusiastic and responsible member
of the Planning Commission from March 13, 1979 to May 14, 1987;
and
WHEREAS, during his tenure, Herman served as Vice
Chairman in 1982 and as Chairman in 1983; and
WHEREAS, in the course of his eight year term, Herman
has significantly participated in many noteworthy accomplishments
including adoption of a completely revised General Plan and
Zoning Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, Herman R. Hoyer has provided dedicated
services in representing the interests of the citizens of South
San Francisco in planning matters in order to provide a more
desirable living and working environment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
South San Francisco hereby expresses deep appreciation to Herman
R. Hoyer for his contributions to the City's progress and welfare
through his services as Planning Commissioner.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco at a requ]ar meeting held on the
24thday of June , 1987, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers John "Jack" Drago. Richard A. Haffe. v, Gu~ Nicolopulo~,
Roberta Cerri Teglia, and Mark N. Addieqo
