CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS,
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF SUPPLIES,
EQUIPMENT OR SERVICES AND CALLING BIDS
FOR LIQUID CHLORINE - BID #1757
WHEREAS, specifications providing for the purchase of supplies, equipment
and/or services have been submitted, which specifications are entitled:
LIQUID CHLORINE
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve the specifications, authorize
the purchase provided for therein, and call for sealed proposals;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that:
1. The specifications hereinbefore identified are hereby approved, and the
purchase is hereby authorized.
2. The Purchasing Officer is hereby directed to publish a notice inviting
sealed proposals or bids for the purchase hereinbefore identified in the office
of the Purchasing Officer. Notice shall be published in the ~nterprise-Journal,
a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of South San
Francisco, at least ten (10) days before the date of opening of the bids.
3. Bids will be received by the City of South San Francisco, California, at
the office of the Purchasing Officer, City Hall Annex, 315 Maple Avenue, South
San Francisco, California 94080 at or before the hour of 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday,
the 28t_.._~h day of Jul~ 1987, that time being not less than ten (10) days from the
first publication of notice. The bids will be publicly opened, examined and
declared at that time in the Conference Room, City Hall, 400 Grand Avenue, South
San Francisco, and award will thereafter be made by the City Council to the
lowest responsible bidder or bidders, subject, however, to the right of the City
Council to reject any and all bids, which right is hereby reserved.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 8th day of July , 1987 by
the following vote:
