CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A
10' PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT ADJACENT
TO JUNIPERO SERRA BLVD., WINSTON MANOR
NO. 2 SUBDIVISION
Whereas, the Public Streets, Highways, and Service Easements Vacation Law
(commencing with Section 8300 of the Streets and Highway Code), provides for the
adoption of resolutions of intention to vacate and abandon public easements; and
Whereas, the public interest and convenience require, and it is the
intention of this Council to vacate and abandon the Public Utility Easement
described in Exhibit "A" attached, which easement is unnecessary for present or
prospective public use; and
Whereas, reference is hereby made to the related map entitled "Exhibit B-
Plat" on file in the office of the City Clerk;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, that:
1. Notice is hereby given that Wednesday, the 26th day of August, 1987, at
7:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Municipal Services Building, 33 Arroyo
Drive, South San Francisco, is fixed as the time and place when and where all
persons interested in, or having objections to, the proposed vacation of the
public utility easement as herein described may appear before the Council and be
heard.
2. Notice of the vacation of the public utility easement shall be posted
conspicuously along the line of the easement or part thereof to be vacated at
least two (2) weeks prior to the date set for hearing, and the notices shall be
posted not more than 300 feet apart, and not less than three (3) notices shall
be posted.
3. Notice of the date, hour and place of the hearing concerning the
vacation of public service easement shall be published for at least two {2)
successive weeks prior to the hearing in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of
general circulation.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 22nd day of July , 1987, by the following vote:

A 10' P.U.E. (Public Utility Easement) located
adjacent to Junipero Serra Boulevard within
Lots I through 6, Block 13, Lots 10 through
34, Block 13 and Lots 1 through 13, Block 20,
as shown on the Final Map of Winston Manor No.
2, recorded May 28, 1951, in Volume 33 of
Subdivision Maps at Pages 28 and 29, Records
of San Mateo County.
