CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING REPORT OF ANNUAL
SEWER RENTALS AND CHARGES FOR 1987-88
PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 14.12 OF THE SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO MUNCIPAL CODE
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 14.12 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code,
sewer rentals and charges are required to be assessed on the City tax rolls and
collected with the regular municipal taxes; and
WHEREAS, the written report charging each parcel with the sewer rentals and
charges has been duly filed with the City Clerk, which report reflects adjust-
ments made by the Deputy City Manager/City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly called and held on July 22, 1987 at the
hour of 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Municipal Services Building,
33 Arroyo Drive, South San Francisco, California, to consider any protests and/or
modification of the report prior to adoption thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1. The "Report of Sewer Rental Charges for 1987-88 prepared in accordance
with Chapter 14.12 of the Municipal Code," which charges each parcel of real
property receiving directly the benefits of the municipal sanitary sewer services
for fiscal year 1987-88, is hereby approved and adopted.
2. The sewer rentals and charges filed with the City Clerk contained in
the "Report of Sewer Rentals Charges for 1987-88, in accordance with Chapter 14.12
of the Municipal Code," and submitted by the Director of Finance, are hereby
adopted, and the rentals and charges will be assessed on the City tax rolls
and collected with the regular municipal taxes, and pursuant to Chapter 14.12 of
the Municipal Code, the rentals shall constitute a lien upon the respective
parcels of real property in the City of South San Francico.
3 The City Clerk shall cause a copy of this resolution to be published
within fifteen (15) days after passage in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper
of general circulation published in the City of South San Francisco', and shall
further certify to the County Tax Collector or Auditor that the report was
adopted by the Counci, the certification to be substantially in the form set
forth in the report.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a re_q. ular

REPORT OF SEWER RENTAL CHARGES FOR 1987-88
IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 14.12 OF THE
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE
In accordance with Chapter 14.12 of the South San Francisco Municipal
Code, the following report prepared as of June 30, 1987 is submitted, describing
the procedure whereby parcels of real property receiving directly the benefits of
municipal sanitary sewer services will be charged for such benefits, and the
amount of the annual charge or rental which will be imposed against each such
parcel for the 1987-88 fiscal year.
1. Summary of rentals or charges -- The following is a summary of the
annual rentals or charges for 1987-88.
All commercial and industrial properties $ 1,065,714

by Westborough County Water District 998,694

2. Sewer Rental Account File_-- This report refers to and incorporates by
reference the report entitled "Rate Determination and Revenue Program Summary,"
prepared by the City of South San Francisco Water Quality Control Plant, a copy
of which is filed in the Finance Office. Said report summarizes the 1987-88
sewer rental charge that will be presented to the City Council on July 22.
Upon adoption of the proposed charges, with amendments thereto, if any, a
report entitled "City of South San Francisco Sanitary Sewer Charges," prepared
by Engineering Data Services, Los Altos, California will be completed. Said
report will d~sc. ribe by Assessor's parcel number , each parcel of real property
directly receiving the benefits of municipal sanitary sewer service and the
amount of annual charge or rental imposed against each such parcel for the
1987-88 fiscal year, and will be filed with the County Tax Collector or Auditor
as the City of South San Francisco's Sewer Charge list for 1987-88, together
with a copy of this report bearing the Clerk's endorsement that the report
has been duly adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco.
