CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO' STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A REDEVELOPMENT
SURVEY AREA FOR STUDY PURPOSES
WHEREAS, Section 33310 of the California Community Redevelopment Law
(Health and Safety Code, Section 33000 et seq.) provides that redevelopment
survey areas may be designated by resolution of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco desires that
the area of the City of South San Francisco hereinafter designated be studied
to determine whether a redevelopment project or projects within the area are
feasible.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1. The City Council hereby designates the Downtown Redevelopment Survey
Area as shown and described on the map attached and incorporated as Exhibit "A".
2. The City Council hereby finds that the designated Survey Area requires
study to determine if a redevelopment project or projects within the area are
feasible.
3. The Planning Commission is hereby requested to carry out such study
and in cooperation with the Redevelopment Agency of the City of South San
Francisco select a redevelopment project area or project areas from the Survey
Area and to formulate and adopt a preliminary plan for each project area
selected.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
