CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARCELIZATION OF
CITY OWNED PROPERTY CONSISTING OF 15 LOTS
CONTAINING 5.356 ACRES LOCATED AT THE
NORTHWEST CORNER OF GRAND AND CHESTNUT AVENUES
WHEREAS, the Council desires to combine and resubdivide the property as
required by the Subdivision Map Act (commencing at Government Code Section
66410) in order to consolidate 15 separate lots into two parcels, one of
which shall be reserved for street widening; and
WHEREAS, the Council desires to reserve on the property 10' wide storm
drainage easements and a 5' wide public utility easement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, that:
1. Map Preparation.
The City Manager shall cause the property to be parcelized in
accordance with the Subdivision Map Act and with Title 19 of the South San
Francisco Municipal Code.
2. Easement Dedication and Street Right-of-Way Reservation.
The City Manager is authorized to reserve, on behalf of the
public: storm drainage easements, a non-exclusive public utility easement
and a parcel of land adjacent to Chestnut Avenue for street right-of-way
purposes.
3. Map Execution.
The City Manager is hereby authorized to sign the parcel map
owner's certificate (as required by Government Code Section 66445(e)), on
behalf of the City.
4. Recordation.
The City Clerk is authorized and directed to record or cause
recordation of the map in the official records of the County of San Mateo.
I hereby certify that the foregoin§ Resolution was re§ularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 12th day of November , 1986, by the
following vote.
