CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION RESCINDING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT
GP-85-28, AS ADOPTED BY RESOLUTION NO. 259-85
(SHEARWATER DEVELOPMENT PROJECT)
WHEREAS, pursuant to an order issued by Judge Harlan K. Veal on November
26, 1986 the City Council has been directed to vacate its approval of the
General Plan Amendment which added to the definition of Planned Commercial
Designation in the Land Use Element a residential density of forty (40) units
per acre for the U. S. Steel Redevelopment Area (Shearwater Development Project),
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that General Plan Amendment GP-85-28, as adopted by Resolution No.
259-85, is hereby rescinded.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at an adjourned
regular meeting held on the 17th day of December , 1986 , by
the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers John "Jack" Drago, Richard A. Haffey, Gus Nicolopulos,
Roberta Cerri Teglia and Mark N. Addiego
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
