CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION PERMITTING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM
THE PARKING DISTRICT TO THE APPROPRIATE ACCOUNTS
FOR THE PURPOSE OF CREATING AN ADDITIONAL POSITION
OF PARKING ENFORCEMENT OFFICER AND AUTHORIZING ONE
ADDITIONAL POSITION OF PARKING ENFORCEMENT OFFICER
IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, The Parking Place Commission of the City of South San Francisco
has appropriated thirty two thousand two hundred twenty dollars ($32,220)
and authorized the transfer of the funds to the Police Department of the
City of South San Francisco and other appropriate City Departments for the
purpose of creating an additional Parking Enforcement Officer to be paid for
with the funds for the remainder of the current fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, The City Council concurs with the Parking Place Commission
that a need exists for the expansion of enforcement efforts relating to
parking;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes the Police
Department of the City of South San Francisco to increase the approved
complement of Parking Enforcement Officers assigned to the Department by
one (1) to be funded totally and annually by the South San Francisco Parking
Place Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council authorizes the City Manager
to take all actions necessary to complete the transfer of funds and place-
ment of one (1) additional Parking Enforcement Officer.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
at a regular meeting held on the 8th day of October , 19 86
by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Mark N. Addiego, Richard A. Haffe~v, Gus Nicolopulos,
and Roberta Cerri Teglia
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilmember John "Jack" Drago
