CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A GRANT FOR VIDEO EQUIPMENT
TO THE FOUNDATION FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE CABLE TELEVISION
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco has a commitment to developing
the public service of cable television; and
WHEREAS, the City is supportive of increasing community access to local
cable; and
WHEREAS, the Recreation and Community Services Department strives to
acquire video equipment to produce programs and to offer video classes to
the community;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that:
The Recreation and Community Services Department is authorized
to apply for a Local Development Grant from the Foundation for
Community Service Cable Television for the purchase of video
equipment.
2. If the grant is awarded the City will serve as fiscal agent
for the proposal outlined in the grant application.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
~dj. regular meeting held on the 29th day of October
the following vote:
