CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AMENDING CHAPTER i OF THE MASTER
FEE SCHEDULE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend the Master Fee Resolution to
reflect increased costs of providing certain services and to include new fees
for the extension of maps, appeals of decisions of the Planning Director, con-
cealed weapon permits and security guard companies, and to make some clarifying
description changes; and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 54990, et seq. provides a procedure for
levying certain fees by local agencies; and
WHEREAS, the City Council on October 29, 1986 conducted a properly noticed
public hearing at which time an opportunity was given to the members of the
public to make written or oral presentations concerning the proposed fees; and
WHEREAS, at least ten days prior to the public hearing the City made avail-
able to the public an estimate of costs required to provide the services for
which the fees are levied and the revenue sources anticipated to provide the
services, including general fund revenues; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the costs to provide the foregoing
services, including estimated costs, and the revenue sources anticipated to
provide said services, including general fund revenues;
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the public response to the proposed
fees;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by %he City Council that:
1~ The City Council does hereby adopt the fees set forth in Exhibit "A"
attached~
2' The Director of Finance is hereby directed to amend the Master Fee
Schedule of the City of South San Francisco to reflect the fees set forth in
Exhibit "A".
3. All prior resolutions referring to fees are repeal ed to the extent
that the prior resolutions are inconsistent with the Master Fee Schedule
amendments adopted herein.
4. Severability. If any sentence, clause, phrase or other portion of
this resolution or of the Master Fee Schedule established hereby is for any
reason to be held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not
affect the validity of the remaining portions of this resolution or of the
Master Fee Schedule. The City Council hereby declares that it would have
adopted this resolution and established the Master Fee Schedule and each
sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof, irrespective of the fact that one
or more sentences, clauses, phrases or portions thereof be declared unconstitu-
tional or invalid.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at an adj. regular
meeting held on the 29th day of October , 1986 by the following vote:
