CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE
A PUBLIC STREET EASEMENT INTERSECTING
COMMERCIAL AVENUE, LOCATED BETWEEN
OAK AVENUE AND DALY COURT
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Fracisco
as follows:

Notice is hereby given that Wednesday , the 12thday of
19 86 , at 7:30 pm., which time is not less than fifteen (15)
days from the date of passage of this Resolution, in the Community Room of the
Municipal Services Building, 33 Arroyo Drive, South San Francisco, California,
is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where all persons interested in,
or having objections to, the proposed vacation of a public street easement
intersectinQ Commercial Avenue, located between Oak Avenue and Daly Court
as hereinafter described, may appear before said Council and be heard.
2. A copy of this Resolution shall be published for a~ least two (2)
successive weeks prior %o the hearing date in the Enterprise-Journal, a news-
paper of general circulation printed and published in said City in the manner
prescribed by law for publishing ordinances in said City.
3. Notices of the vacation, stating the passage of the Resolution
of Intention and the time and place of hearing shall be posted conspicuously
along ~he line of the street, or part thereof, proposed to be vacated at least
two (2) weeks before the date se% for the hearing, not more than 300 feet apart,
and no% less than three (3) no%ices shall be pos%ed.
4. The public interest and convenience require, and it is %he intention
of this Council to vacate a public street easement intersecting Commercial
Avenue, located between Oak Avenue and Daly Court
as shown on %he map entitled "Plat - Abandonment of an Alley Right-of-Way"
which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, and which is more particularly
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
5. This vacation proceeding is conducted pursuant to Capter 3 of the Public
Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law (commencing with Streets &
Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law (commencing with Streets & Highways
Code Section 8300 et. seQ.)
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 12th day of February , 19 86 , by the following
vote:
