RESOLUTION NO. 37-86
CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS,
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF SUPPLIES,
EQUII~IENT OR SERVICES AND CALLING BIDS
FOR TWO (2) DUMP TRUCKS 26,500 GVW
WITH ENCLOSED DUMP BODY,
BID 11713
BE IT RESOLVED by the Ctty Council of the Ctty of South San Francisco, that:
WHEREAS, specifications providing for the purchase of supplies, equipment
and/or services have been submitted, which specifications are entitled:
TWO (2) DUMP TRUCKS 26,500 GVW WITH ENCLOSED DUHP BODY
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve said specifications, authorize
the purchase provided for therein, and call for sealed proposals;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that:
1. The specifications hereinbefore named and identified are hereby approved,
and the purchase therein provided is hereby authorized, and said specifications
are by this reference incorporated herein as though set forth verbatim.
2. The PurChasing Officer of the City is hereby directed to publish a
notice inviting sealed proposals or bids for said purchase hereinbefore named
and identified in the office of the Purchasing Officer. Notice shall be published
in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general circulation printed and pub-
ltshed in the City of South San Francisco, at least ten (10) days before the
date of opening of the bids.
3. Bids will be received by the City of South San Francisco, California,
at the office of the Purchasing Officer of said City, City Hall Annex, 315 Maple
Avenue, South San Francisco, California 94080.
at or before the hour of 2:00PM
on MONDAY , the 17th day of ~RCH , lgB6 ,
said time not being less than ten (10) days from the first publication of notice.
The bids will be publicly opened, examined and declared at said time in the
Conference Room, City Hall, 400 Grand Avenue, South San Francisco, and award will
thereafter be made by the City Council of said City to the lowest responsible
bidder or bidders, subject, however, to the right of said City Council to reject
any and all bids, which right is hereby reserved.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 12th day of February , 19 86 · by the following
