A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
PLAYGROUND ACQUISITION ,' ORANGE MEMORIAL PARK - PICNIC AREA,
WINSTON MANOR #1 PARK, AND PARADISE. VALLEY PARK
PROJECT NO. PR-85'4, BID NO~ 1708
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of SOuth San Francisco
that:
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous authorization and published notice,
bids were publicly opened, examined and declared on the lnth day of
Februarv , 19=.~[~__, for
PLAYGROUND ACQUISITION - ORANGE MEMORIAL PARK - PICNIC AREA,
WINSTON MANOR #1 PARK, AND PARADISE VALLEY PARK
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said proposals or
bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract to the
lowest responsible bidder, Columbia Cascade Timber Comoanv of
Portland, Oregon
for the bid price of Thirty Three Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty Eight pnllars
and Seventy One Cents.
($ 33,828.71 ).
2. That the City Manager of said City is hereby authorized to make
and enter into a written contract with said successful bidder and the City
Clerk of said City is hereby directed to attest his signature and affix thereto
the corporate seal of the City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at
a regular meeting held on the 26th day of F~bruar¥ ,
