CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION PLAN.
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that the Employee Classification Plan is amended,
effective March 1, 1986, as follows:
1. The class specification for the position of Deputy
City Clerk (Exhibit A) is deleted from the Employee
Classification Plan.
2. Resolution Nos. 10-82, 11-82 and 12-82, dated
January 20, 1982, which established the position
of Deputy City Clerk are hereby modified to delete
the position of Deputy City Clerk.
3. All references to the position of Deputy City Clerk
in the City of South San Francisco Ordinances,
Resolutions, Employee Classification and/or budget,
are hereby rescinded.

introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South

Knowledge of:
Principles of office management, procedures and records retention

Basic mathematics;
Proper business English, punctuation, spelling, grammar and vocabulary;
Proper business correspondence and composition;
Functions of the office of the City Clerk.
Ability to:
Make Independent decisions In procedural matters with limited
Instructions;
Establish and maintain good working relationships and communications
with those contacted in the course of work;
Independently perform dlfflcult and responsible work;
Take and accurately transcribe dictation at a speed of no less than
90 words per minute;
Type accurately at a speed of no less than 50 words per minute;
