CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
1985-86 STREET RESURFACING PROGRAM
PROJECT NO. ST-85-4
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, that:
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous authorization and published
notice, bids were publicly opened, examined and declared on the
4TH day of MARCH, 1986, for
1985-86 STREET RESURFACING PROGRAM, PROJECT NO. ST-85-4
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said
proposals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby
awards the contract to the lowest responsible bidder,
OLIVER DESILVA, INC. OF HAYWARD
for the bid price of Three Hundred Fifty-Eight Thousands, Nine
Hundred Forty-Two Dollars and Twenty Cents.
($358,942.20)
2. That the City Manager of said City is hereby authorized
to make and enter into a written contract with said successful
bidder and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to
attest his signature and affix thereto the corporate seal of the
City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco at a requ]ar meeting held on the 12th day of
March , 1986, by the following vote.

Councilmembers Mark N. Addiego, John "Jack" Drago, Richard A. Haffey
Gus Nicolopulos and Roberta Cerri Teqlia
