CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
SUPPLEMENT NO. 1, REVISION NO. 2, TO LOCAL
AGENCY STATE AGREEMENT NO. 04-5177
(FEDERAL AID SAFETY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, that:
1. Execution.
Execution of Supplement No. 1, Revision 2, to the Local
Agency State Agreement No. 04-5177 between the City of South San
Francisco and the State of California Department of Transporta-
tion entitled "Program of Local Agency Federal-Aid Safety
Improvement Projects in the City of South San Francisco", a copy
of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" is hereby authorized.
2. Signatures.
The Mayor is authorized to execute Supplement No. 1,
Revision No. 2, on behalf of the City, and the City Clerk attest
her signature thereto.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 12th day of
March

SPECIAL COVENANTS OR REMARKS
The Local Agency agrees the payment of Federal funds will be
limited to the Detail Estimate amounts approved by the
Federal Highway Administration in the Federal-Aid Project
Agreement (PR-2), or its modification (PR-2A), and accepts
any increases in Local Agency Funds as shown on the Finance
or Bid Letter or its modification as prepared by the Office
of Local Assistance.
2. ~All required pavement markings and advance warning signs
shall conform to the requirements of MUTCD, 1978 and shall be
placed in their proper location by the Local Agency at the
time of completion of the Railroad's work.
The cost of maintenance of the crossing shall be as allocated
by the Public Utilities Commission.
This Revised Program Supplement supersedes Program Supplement
1, Rev. 1 approved by the Local Agency's Governing Body on
4/9/84 .
The Local Agency will provide construction inspection and
prepare the Final Report.
Work will be performed in conformance with FHWA, Region 9,
Letter (Ref. HPD-CA, File: 441) dated November 9, 1983
