HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 59-1986 RESOLUTION NO. 59-86 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE ENERGY PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM WITH THE CALIFORNIA ENERGY COMMISSION WHEREAS, the Energy Partnership Program provides private consultants to assist local governments in identifying and developing cost effective energy options; and WHEREAS, the service is provided at no cost to the City; and WHEREAS, the Energy Partnership Program provides expertise in the following categories: 1. Assessing Energy Options. 2. Examining and Developing Energy Options. 3. Overcoming Developing Barriers. 4. Municipal Solid Waste-to-Energy Options.; WHEREAS, with the assistance of private consultants, City staff can develop knowledge and skills which will be useful in future energy projects; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco authorize the City Manager or his designee to implement the Energy Partnership Program with the California Energy Commission and complete the Application for Assistance form attached hereto as Exhibit "1" and by this reference incorporated herein as though set forth verbatim.
