HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 60-1986 RESOLUTION NO. 60-86 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ENDORSING PROJECT FOR INCLUSION IN TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT, ARTICLE 3, PEDESTRIAN/BICYCLE PROJECTS FOR SAN MATEO COUNTY WHEREAS, the Transportation Development Act (TDA), Public Utilities Code Sections 99233.3 an 99234, makes funds available in the nine-county Metroplitan Transportation Commission (MTC) Region for pedestrian/bicycle purposes; and WHEREAS, MTC makes annnual allocations of TDA Article 3 funds to eligible claimants after review of applications submitted by claimants; and WHEREAS, proposed projects will be evaluated by procedures and criteria outlined in MTC Resolution 875 as revised by MTC on November 24, 1982; and WHEREAS, proposed projects will be reviewed, evaluated and ranked in order of priority by the San Mateo County Bikeways Committee, then forwarded to the County Board of Supervisors for approval, and then forwarded to MTC for approval; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco has reviewed the proposed projects within the City that are eligible for TDA Article 3 funding; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco endorses the submittal of the City of South San Francisco Bike Lockers Project (El Camino Real at Arroyo Drive and E1 Camino Real at Brentwood Drive) for consideration of inclusion in the Pedestrian/Bicycle Project Program under TDA Article 3, and finds that this project is consistent with the City's General Plan. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting ~eld on t~e 12th day of March , 19 86 , by t~e following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Councilmembers Mark N.
