CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF GRANT
APPLICATIONS BY THE CITY MANAGER FOR THE
BENEFIT OF THE OPERATIONS AND PROGRAMS OF THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO SENIOR CENTERS
WHEREAS. the City of South San Francisco, at various times, must file appli-
cations for grant projects with the San Mateo County Area Agency on Aging; and
WHEREAS, It is desirable that a blanket authorization be granted to the City
Manager to file for funding and to obtain grants for the South San Francisco
Senior Centers for the operations and programs of said senior centers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that it does hereby authorize the City Manager to execute and cause to
be filed any and all applications required for and on behalf of the South San
Francisco Senior Centers for funding for its programs and operation of said senior
centers.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this authorization shall be effective for the
period from July 1, 1986 through June 30, 1987, inclusive, and this resolution
of authority shall terminate and expire at said time without further action by
the City Council.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 9th day of April , 19 86 , by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Mark N. Addiego, John "Jack" Drago, Richard A. Haffey,
Gus Nicolopulos and Roberta Cerri Teglia
