A RESOLUTION AWARDING SALE OF BONDS
AND APPROVING OFFICIAL STATEMENT
GATEWAY ASSESSMENT DISTRI2T NO. ST-82-2
REASSESSMENT OF SERI.ES 86-A BONDS
RESOLVED, by the City Council of t~e City of South San Francisco,
County of San Mateo, California, that
1. This Council has received a written offer from Dean Witter
Reynolds, Inc., to enter into a Purchase Co~tract for the bonds to be issued
to represent unpaid reassessments levied in proceedings had pursuant to
Resolution of Intention No. 212-85, adopted by this Council on September 25,
1985.

Reynolds, Inc., said sale to be subject to all of the terms and conditions
set forth in said Purchase Contract, and tPe Mayor of the City of South San

Contract on behalf of said City.
4. The Treasurer of said City be, and is hereby, directed to cause
the bonds to be printed and the same to ~e authenticated and delivered on
receipt of the amount to be paid therefor as stated in said contract, and
upon the performance of the conditions contained in said contract.
5. The interest rates of said bo~ds shall be, and the same are
hereby, fixed at the rates stated in said contract.
6. The form of the Official Statement dated as of April 30, 1986,
this date presented to the Council, is hereby approved.
7. The Finance Director or other appropriate official of the City is
authorized and directed to execute and to cause to be delivered to the
purchaser of the Bonds a statement that, to the signer's best knowledge and
belief, the facts contained in the Official Statement, and any supplement or
amendment thereto (which shall be deemed an original part thereof for the
purpose of such statement) were, at the time of award of said bonds, and
are, as of the date of delivery of said bonds, true and correct in all
material respects and that the Official Statement did not, at the date of
award of said bonds, and does not, as of the date of delivery of said bonds,
contain any untrue statement of a material fact or omit to state material
facts required to be stated where necessary to make a statement not
misleading in light of the circumstances under which it was made. The
signer shall, with the aid of the staffl of the City, take such further
actions prior to the signing of the statement as are deemed necessary or
appropriate to verify the accuracy of the statement.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Courcil of the City of South San
Francisco at regular meeting held on thi~ 23rd day of April ,
1986, by the following vote:
