AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
EQUIPMENT OR SERVICES AND CAI
FOR ONE (1) MINI VAN
TWO (2) COMPACT PICKUPS
ONE (1) 3/4 T PICKUP
ONE (1) 1 T CAB'& CHASSIS

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, that:
WHEREAS, specifications providing for theipurchase of supplies, equipment
and/or services have been submitted, which specifications are entitled: One (1) Min Van
Two (2) Compact Pickups
One (1) 3/4 T Pickup
and, One (1) 1 T Cab And Chasisis
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to appr!ove said specifications, authorize
the purchase provided for therein, and call for sealed proposals;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that:
1. The specifications hereinbefore named and identified are hereby approved,
and the purchase therein provided is hereby authorized, and said specifications
are by this reference incorporated herein as!though set forth verbatim.
2. The Purchasing Officer of the City is hereby directed to publish a
notice inviting sealed proposals or bids forisaid purchase hereinbefore named
and identified in the office of the Purchasing Officer. Notice shall be published
in the Enterprise-journal, a newspaper of general circulation printed and pub-
lished in the City of South San Francisco, at least ten (10) days before the
date of opening of the bids. ~
3. Bids will be received by the City ofiSouth San Francisco, California,
at the office of the Purchasing Officer of said City, City Hall Annex, 315 Maple
Avenue, South San Francisco, California 94080.
at or before the hour of 2:00 RM
on MONDAY , the 30th day of DECEMBER , 19 85 ,
said time not being less than ten (10) days from the first publication of notice.
The bids will be publicly opened, examined and declared at said time in the
Conference Room, City Hall, 400 Grand Avenuel, South San Francisco, and award will
thereafter be made by the City Council of saiid City to the lowest responsible
bidder or bidders, subject, however, to the right of said City Council to reject
any and all bids, which right is hereby rese!rved.
I hereby certify that the foregoing ResolUtion was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of SoUth San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 11th day of December , 19 85, by the following
vote:
