A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR EIGHT (8) USED (RENTAL CARS) VEHICLES
BID # 1698
that:
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council Of the City of South San Francisco
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous authorization and published notice,
bids were publicly opened, examined and declared on the 26th day of
November , 19 85 , for EIGHT (8) USED (RENTAL CAM~) VEHICLES
2 ea. CHEVROLET (CAPRICE), 5 ea. CHEVROLET (CELEBRITY), 1 ea CHEVROLET (CAMERO).
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said proposals or
bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract to the
lowest responsible bidder, NATIONAL CAR RENTAL, 40 EDWARDS CT., BURLINGAME
CA. 94010
for the bid price of' SIXTY-EIGHT THOUSAND SIXTEEN AND 26/100.
($ 68,016.26 ).
2. That the City Manager of said City is hereby authorized to make
and enter into a written contract with said successful bidder and the City
Clerk of said City is hereby directed to attest his signature and affix thereto
the corporate seal of the City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council~o~Lthe City of South San Francisco at
a regular meeting held on the ~n day of December , 19 85 ,
