HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 266-1985RESOLUTION NO. 266-85 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION COMMENDING WILMER D. "BILL" KOEPPEN WHEREAS, BILL KOEPPEN, after faithfully serving the City of South San Francisco for over thirteen (13) years, is retiring on December 26, 1985; and WHEREAS, Bill was employed by the City of South San Francisco on September 1, 1972 as a Building Maintenance Worker and after one (1) year he successfully applied for his present position as Printer; and WHEREAS, he served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II; and WHEREAS, he is an active church council member, a member of the Cub Scouts and one of the top blood donors in the Bay Area; and WHEREAS, he enjoys spending time bowling and is a 500 Series bowler, Snowmobiling, and concentrating as a skillful player on a game of Chess; and WHEREAS, Bill's dream of retirement is to pursue his hobbies, especially, fishing; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that it does hereby express appreciation to WILMER D. "BILL" KOEPPEN for his dedicated services to the City of South San Francisco and does order this Resolution incorporated in the official records of the City as this Council's expression of appreciation and its wishes for his long and happy retirement. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted bg the Citg Council of the City of South San Francisco at an ad3. regular meeting held on the 18th day of December , 198 5 , by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Mark N. Addiego, John "Jack" Dra§o, Richard A. Haffey, Gus Nicolopulos; and Roberta Cerri Teglia NOES: None ABSENT: None City Clerk
