HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 4-1986 RESOLUTION NO. 4-86 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION SETTING CITY'S MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT RATE WHEREAS, the current City rate for mileage reimbursement of $0.25 per mile has been in effect since October, 1983, when it was increased from $.020 per mile; and WHEREAS, the Tax Reform Act of 1984 sets tighter restraints on employee use of personal vehicles for business; and WHEREAS, it will be beneficial to the City and its employees if the mileage reimbursement rate were reduced to the IRS allowance of $0.21 per mile; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City's mileage reimbursement rate is set at $0.21 per mile, effective January 1, 1986. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resclution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 8th day of January , 19 86 , by the following vote: AYES: NOES: Councilmembers Mark N. Addiego, John "Jack" Dra.qo, Richard A. Haffey, Gus Nicolopulos; and Roberta Cerri Teglia None ABSENT: None
