CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE
DUTIES AND SALARY OF CITY TREASURER
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the duties of the office of City
Treasurer should be limited to those set forth by the State Legislature in
the California Government Code; and
WHEREAS, it has been de%ermined that the bond redemption duties presently
performed by the office of City Treasurer c~n be more efficiently performed by
outside consultants ; and
WHEREAS, the delegation of those bond redemption duties will greatly reduce
the time requirement for the position of City Treasurer;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
1. The duties and responsibilities of the position of City Treasurer will
be as provided for in California Government Code Sections 41001 e% seq., as
amended;
2. The total annual compensation for rye position of City Treasurer shall
be $5,200 paid in bi-weekly intallments of $200;
3. The total annual compenstion set forth above shall include the compen-
sation for any deputies who may be appointee by the City Treasurer in accord-
ance with California Government Code SectioF 41006, as amended.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 8th day of January , 19 86 , by the following
