CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION SUPPORTING A SENIOR ADULT DAY CARE
PROGRAM IN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
WHEREAS, Recreation and Communitg Services vastly enhance our environment
and our lives; and
WHEREAS, leisure facilities in both urban and rural areas are a necessity
to life, since they have a substantial effect on mental and physical health,
economic productivity and social problems; and
WHEREAS, the proposed program will make available additional senior
services in the community; and
WHEREAS, the Senior Adult Day Care Program will have a direct benefit to
our community; and moreover, will benefit the health and well-being of senior
adults;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco encourages and strongly supports the establishment of a Senior
Adult Day Care Program in our City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City Of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the llth day Of September , 1985, by
the following vote:

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, RESPONDENTS:
After hearing and determination by this Court that you have failed
to perform your legal duties with respect to a specia! referendum election
on December lO, 1985, and are to take no action to hold said referendum
election and to make no expenditures Of public funds on said election, and
judgment having been entered in this proceeding ordering that a peremptory
writ of mandate issue under the seal Of this Court,
THEREFORE, you are commanded to take no action to hold said
referendum election and to make no expenditures of public funds on said
election.
You are. further commanded tO serve and file a written return to
this writ on or before November l, 1985.
