CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING GRANTS OF EASEMENT FROM
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO TO PACIFIC GAS & ELECTRIC COMPANY
AND PACIFIC BELL - OYSTER POINT BLVD. AND OYSTER POINT MARINA
WHEREAS, the construction work of Oyster Point Village Associates, Inc.
has reached a point where permanent electrical and communication service to
the buildings is required; and
WHEREAS, in order for the Pacific Gas & Electric Company and Pacific Bell
to provide the necessary underground electrical and communication service to
the lessees' premises, Grants of Easement for certain underground electrical
and communication distribution facilities adjacent to the leased parcel and all
necessary rights of way and easements must be granted to the Pacific Gas &
Electric Company and Pacific Bell; and
WHEREAS, drawings showing all necessary rights of way and easements have
been prepared as part of the Grants of Easement; and
WHEREAS, ~ne San Mateo County Harbor District, Board of Commissioners, has
previously approved ~he Grants of Easements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that:
1. The Grants of Easement by the San Mateo County Harbor District, the
South San Francisco Park Recreation and Parkway District and the City of South
San Francisco to Pacific Gas & Electric Company and Pacific Bell for underground
facilities are hereby approved, and copies of said Grants of Easement are attached
hereto as Exhibits "1" and "2".
2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said Grants of Easement on behalf
of the City and the City Clerk attest his signature thereto, and assure recorda-
tion thereof.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the13th day of November, 198 5., by
the following vote:

a public body of the State of California,

first party, hereby grants to PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY, a California corporation,
and PACIFIC BELL, a California corporation,
second party, the right from time to time to construct, reconstruct, install, inspect, maintain, replace,
remove, and use facilities of the type hereinafter specified, together with a right of way therefor,
within a strip or parcel of land or along a route as hereinafter set forth, and also ingress thereto and
egress therefrom, over and across the lands situate in the City of South San ;Francisco
County of San Macao , State of California, described as follows:

Parcel B, as said parcel is showa upon the Parcel Map filed for record
in Book 55 of Parcel Maps at pages 61 to 64, inclusive, San Mateo County
Records.
Said facilities shall ccnsist of:
Such underground conduits, pipes, manholes, service boxes, wires, cables,
and electrical conductors; aboveground marker posts, risers, and service
pedestals; underground and aboveground switches, fuses, terminals, and
transformers with associated concrete pads; and fixtures and appurtenances
necessary to any and all thereof, as second party deems necessary located
within the strip of land described as follows:
A strip of land of the uniform width of 10 feet, extending southwesterly
from the northwesterly boundary line of said Parcel B, and lying 5 feet
on each side of a line which begins at a point in said northwesterly
boundary line of Parcel B and runs thence South 61° 13' East 170.0 feet;
said point of beginning bears North 40~ 52' 20" East 65.4 feet distant
from the southwesterly terminus of the course in said northwesterly
boundary line of Parcel B; which said northwesterly boundary line,
according to said map'is shown as having a bearing of North 40° 52' 20"
East and a length of 239.36 feet[

A strip of land of the uniform width of 5 feet, extending
northeasterly and northwesterly from a line which has a
bearing of South 49°07'40'' East and passes through the
northeasterly terminus of the course in the northwesterly
boundary line of Parcel B, as said parcel is shown upon
the Parcel Map filed for record in Book 55 of Parcel Maps
at pages 61 to 64, inclusive, San Mateo County Records,
which said course, according to said map is shown as
having a bearing of North 40°52'20'' East and a length of
239.36 feet, and lying 2.5 feet on each side of a line
which begins at a point herein for convenience called
Point 'A' in said line which has a bearing of South 49~
07'40" East which passes through said northeasterly terminus
of said northwesterly boundary line of Parcel B, from which
said northeasterly terminus bears North 49°07'40'' West 2.50
feet distant, and runs thence
(1) North 40°52'' East 72.2 feet; thence
(2) North 51°27' East 19.0 feet; thence
(3) North 43°33' West 27.0 feet, more or less,
to a point in the southeasterly boundary line of Oyster
Point Boulevard.

A strip of land of the uniform width of 5 feet,
extending southwesterly and southeasterly from said
line which has a bearing of South 49°07'40'' East
and passes through said northeasterly terminus of
said course in said northwesterly boundary line of
Parcel B, and lying 2.5 feet on each side of a line
which begins at said Point 'A' and runs thence
(1) southwesterly, parallel with and distant
2,50 feet southeasterly from (measured at a right
angle to said northwesterly boundary line of Parcel
B and the southwesterly prolongation thereof, South
40°52'20'' West 271.86 feet, thence
(2) southeasterly, parallel with and distant
7.50 feet southwesterly from (measured at a right
angle to) the southwesterly boundary line of said
Parcel B and the northwesterly prolongation thereof;
which said southwesterly boundary line, according
to said map is shown as having a bearing of North
50°17'50'' West and a length of 165.29 feet, South
50°17'50'' East 187.79 feet; thence
(3) southeasterly on a curve to the right
with a radius of 401.79 feet, and tangent at the
northwesterly terminus thereof to the preceeding
course, an arc distance of 128.0 feet, more or less,
to a point in the southeasterly boundary line of said
Parcel B; which said southeasterly boundary line,
according to said map is shown as having a bearing of
South 55°39'25'' West and a length of 82.61 feet.
Said facilities shall consit of:
Such underground conduits, pipes, manholes, service boxes, wires, cables,
and electrical conductors; aboveground marker posts, risers, and service
pedestals; underground and aboveground switches, fuses, terminals, and
transformers ~ith associated concrete pads; and fixtures and appurtenances
necessary to ~ny and ail thereof, as second party deems necessary, and one
or more underground pipes with suitable service pipes and connections for
the conveyance of gas by Pacific Gas and Electric Company located within
the hereinabova described strips of land designated 1 and 2.
First party also grants to second party the right of ingress to and egress
from said strips over and across the adjacent lands of first party by means
of roads and lanes, if such there be, otherwise by such route or routes as
shall occasion least practicable damage and inconvenience to first party.
