CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
SECOND AMENDMENT TO EXHIBIT "B" OF THE
GROUND LEASE BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO AND THE PRICE COMPANY
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that:
1. Approval of Agreement.
The Agreement entitled "Second Amendment to Exhibit "B" of the Ground
Lease between the City of South San Francisco and the Price Company entitled
'Site Preparation Agreement'" to extend the time limitation contained in
Exhibit "B", Paragraph 5, to commence no earlier than May 1, 1986, is hereby
approved, and a copy of said Agreement is attached hereto as Exhibit "1."
2. Execution of Agreement.
The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of
the City, and the City Clerk attest his signature thereto.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 13th day of November , 1985 , by the following
vote:

EXHIBIT "1" TO RESOLUTION NO. 236-85
SECOND AMENDMENT TO EXHIBIT "B" OF THE GROUND LEASE
BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCICSCO AND THE
PRICE COMPANY ENTITLED "SITE PREPARATION AGREEMENT"
On this 13th day of November , 1985, Paragraph 5 of the Site
Preparation Agreement, Exhibit "B" of the Ground Lease, between the City of
South San Francisco, Landlord, and The Price Company, Tenant, entered on
February 26, 1985, shall be amended to read as follows:
"The lease term shall commence two .(2) months after all conditions
in Paragraph 1 have been satisfied or waived by Tenant (The
Commencement Date); but in no event earlier than May 1, 1986.
Within fifteen (15) days after the Commencement Date, Landlord
and Tenant shall execute an addendum to the lease, setting forth
the date of the Commecement Date."
Except as specifically amended herein, the remaining portions of the Ground
Lease and the Exhibits thereto referenced above are confirmed, ratified and
approved.
