CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE VACATION OF
A PORTION OF A PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT
WITHIN PARCEL 2 BETWEEN JAMES COURT AND
HILLSIDE BOULEVARD
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco as
fol 1 ows:
1. The City Council on the
adopted Resolution No. 218-85
9th day of October , 1985 ~
, entitled "A Resolution of intention to Vacate
a Portion of a Public Service Easement within Parcel 2 between James Court and
Hillside Boulevard
which Resolution recited that the proceedings were undertaken to the Public Streets,
Highways and Service Easement Vacation Law (commencing with Section 8300 of the
Streets and Highways Code) and which Resolution of Intention was duly published
as required by law, and notices of hearing were duly posted in the time, manner
and form provided by law, all as appears from she affidavit of publication and
the affidavit of posting on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
2. Wednesday , the 13th day of November , 1985 at the hour
of 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Municipal Services Building, 33 Arroyo
Drive, South San Francisco, Californa, was fixed in said Resolution of Intention
as the time and place when and where any and all persons interested in, or having
any objections to, said proposed vacation, were to appear before said Council and
be heard.
3. No objections of any kind or character have been or were made or filed
against vacation.
4. The City Council finds that the public service easement which is
described in the Resolution of Intention and which is more particularly
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto which is hereby incorporated by
reference as thou§h set forth verbatim herein, is unnecessary for present or
prospective public use.
5. The public service easement which is described in said Resolution of
Intention and more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
previously incorporated by reference, is hereby ordered vacated.
6. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution and Order,
attested under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the office of the Recorder
of the County of San Mateo.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 13th day of November , 19 85 , by the following
vote:

EASEMENT ACCROSS PARCEL 2 OF PARCEL HAP
No. 84,-214.
Commencing at a 2-inch iron pipe, said pipe being located at the
most northerly corner of Lot 28 as said lot is shown on the Map of
Hillside Estates, recorded April 8, 1981, in Volume 105 of Subdivision
~ap~ at pages 4 and 5, Records of ~an Marco County;' thence from said
point of commencement North 37° 38m 40" East 10.02 feet to a granite
monument designated as "L-5" on the Map of Survey Made for P. E. Iler,
recorded March 10, 1891, in Volume E of Maps at page 79, Records of
San Mateo County; thence South 84° 28' 40" East 17.18 feet to a point
on the easterly line of Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company easement
recorded June 6, 1930 in Book 484, Page 48, Official Records of San Mateo
County, said point also being the true point of beginnings, thence
continuing South 84° 28' 40" East 58.65 feet to a point on the north-
westerly line of Lot 29, as shown on th~ Map of Hillside Estates; theace
along the boundary of Lot 29 the following courses and distances South
40° 06' 18" West '10.55 feet, South 85° 06' 18" West 30.00 feet, and
North 77° 27' 18" West 18.78 feet to the easterly line of said Pacific
Telephone easement thence along the easterly line of Pacific Telephone
easement North 15° 23' 32" East 12.65 feet to the true point of beginning.
