HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 122-1985 RESOLUTION NO. 122-85 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT COMPENSATION PROGRAM AND SETTING SALARIES FOR MEMBERS OF THE EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SAID COMPENSATION PROGRAM WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco City Council established an Executive Management Compensation Program on September 12, 1984; WHEREAS, the Executive Management Compensation Program established Grade Levels and Salary Ranges for Grade Levels for each position in the Executive Mangement; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds it necessary and convenient to amend the salary ranges set forth in said Compensation Program to provide a cost of living increase for the members of Executive Management; and WHEREAS, the Executive Management Compensation Program provides for setting the salaries of members of the Executive Management after considera- tion of each member's qualifications, experience in the position and overall performance appraisal; and WHEREAS, the City Council, the City Manager and the appropriate immediate superiors of each member of the Executive Management have considered these factors for each member of the Executive Management; and WHEREAS, the City Manager and the City Council must approve the salary rate to be set for each member of the Executive Management; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that: 1. The Executive Management Compensation Program Salary Rates and Automobile Allowances are hereby amended to be as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein as though set forth verbatim. 2. The salaries for members of the Executive Management are hereby set at the rates set forth in Exhibit "B" attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein as though set forth verbatim. Such salaries shall be- come effective July 1, 1985 and shall remain in effect until such time as the City Council subsequently acts to adjust such salaries. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at an adj. regular 'meeting held on thelgth day of June , 1985] , by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Mark N.
